Oh my gosh guys, I’m participating in my very first gallery show tomorrow.

The slightly disorienting illustration above is my entry for QXC’s ZOMBIE PROM gallery show! The show’s theme was (of course) the undead.

I did a little research about some of the zombie and undead lore that’s been passed around for centuries, and discovered a lot of them have a theme of spirits taking a solid form / reanimating vessels to prey on / spy on / meddle with the living, or even to sustain their own form. Those were my foundation ideas as I drew this 5,000 year old snake, hypnotizing a rabbit it needs to eat to live for another 500 years.

Anyway: the event is gonna be pretty awesome! Folks are gonna be dressing up in the full spirit of zombies and proms, and anyone planning on showing up is encouraged to do the same!

If you have a free Friday night and don’t know what else to do, why not put on your finest prom-level attire, slap some fake blood all around your mouth, and stop on by?

All the artists will sure love to eat you—I mean, meet you.
